The park is situated in a quiet street, an easy 300 m stroll from the beach. It's away from the bustle, yet easy to find direct off Boat Harbour Dve - the road into Hervey Bay. Public transport picks up from outside the gate, as do the RSL and Boat Club courtesy buses. Tour companies as
well, of course. You'll be able to get everything you need within about a two kilometre radius of the park.

During August to October, a tour out to see the mighty Humpback Whales of Hervey Bay is a "must-see ". Seeing a 40 tonne animal launching itself effortlessly out of the water is a truly amazing sight.
