Talk to the Animals:

hemisphere at the famous Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Olson's
Bird Gardens features birds of the world in a landscaped aviary
and at David Fleay's Wildlife Park you get close to rare and beautiful
native animals. Other parks and sanctuaries where you can 'talk
to the animals' include Pioneer Plantation, Paradise Country and
Aussie Country Down Under.
National Parks:
Follow the roads inland from the Gold Coast's beaches and a magical
world unfolds. A world of tropical rainforests, mountain villages,
and other hidden treasures that are all part of the Gold Coast
hinterland - the green behind the gold. Much of the hinterland
area is national park, allowing you to experience the natural
beauty of the area first hand on one of the park's many walking
tracks. Browse through the various museums, art galleries and
